Stewart Sweda serves as Chief Executive Officer for Careington and Careington affiliate companies, including Careington Benefit Solutions, DialCare and Munroe Sutton. Mr. Sweda has been with Careington for more than 30 years, serving as both Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer before transitioning to his current role as Chief Executive Officer.
As Chief Executive Officer, he works closely with the C-suite officers to lead, grow and develop all Careington initiatives – including significant expansion of its business model, proprietary dental networks, extensive product portfolio and custom administration solutions, as well as the continued evolution of each Careington affiliate company and brand. Regarded as an industry expert, Mr. Sweda has helped Careington establish its stellar reputation as an industry innovator by driving growth of the dynamic solutions that Careington offers to its valued clients and customers. His C-suite experience paired with his extensive expertise in the health and wellness benefits space give him the product knowledge, market awareness and visionary leadership that contribute daily to the success of the Careington family of companies.
Mr. Sweda is a long-time contributing member of the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP) and the Consumer Health Alliance (CHA), an organization that advocates for consumers' rights to choose affordable and practical, non-insured health care products and services. In addition to speaking nationally about the broader dental industry and discount health care space, Mr. Sweda serves on the board of directors for the non-profit organization Families of World War II Veterans.
Mr. Sweda obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Missouri.
A member of the Careington International Corporation family for more than 13 years, Greg T. Rudisill brings decades of experience in employee benefits to Careington, specifically in managed health care and the insured vision care market. In his current role as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Mr. Rudisill is responsible for developing relationships with managed care companies, insurance carriers, third party administrators, affinity/association groups and broker and consultant organizations. He helps lead the development of Careington's general agency and TPA services and is also an integral part of new product expansion, ensuring that Careington's unique products and services are innovative in the marketplace and valuable to the consumer.
Bruce Bernstein, Vice President of Strategic Markets at Careington International Corporation, has been in the dental industry for more than 15 years. In his current role, Mr. Bernstein is responsible for the business development of Careington's increasing stateside and international ventures, as well as overseeing the Launch Loyalty division of the company, focused on developing custom discount dental plans to dental practice groups in the U.S. and U.K. During Mr. Bernstein's tenure, he has built and maintained industry-leading, proprietary dental networks, assisted with marketing efforts and helped dental group clients enhance and revamp their existing programs.
Matthew Herrera serves as Vice President of Business Development for Careington International Corporation. In his current role, Matthew is responsible for managing the group sales team and strategizing sales with third party administrators, employer groups, associations and affinity groups, and government municipalities. He is also an integral part in developing relationships with large employer benefits brokers and ensuring the strength and growth of the company's client accounts. During Matthew's tenure, he has been instrumental in the continued growth of the company as a market leader. It's through his strategic leadership of the sales team that the company continually develops and designs turnkey programs to meet the growing needs of Careington's clients and broker network.
Charley Erwin serves as Broker Development Manager for Careington International Corporation. Mr. Erwin oversees the broker program and its more than 2,000 outside brokers. Mr. Erwin began his career with Careington more than eight years ago as a Sales Initiator. In his current role. Mr. Erwin recruits brokers, assists with customizing health and lifestyle discount plans for groups, develops email outreach campaigns with potential clients and closes inbound sales calls on a daily basis. He also wholesales Careington's networks to brokers, unions, associations, TPAs and insurance carriers. He contracts, trains and supervises the broker program and ensures its day-to-day success.
